[re]Boot Series FAQ

FAQs

What happens between when I sign up and when the series starts?

1. You will meet with the instructor one-on-one to get introduced to the gym, ask questions, and chat about what you are looking to accomplish throughout the series.
2. We’ll go through our movement assessment with you so we know how to best tailor these 8 sessions to you.
3. We take a look at your InBody scan sheet and go over the results. We do this again at the end of the series so you see the progress you’ve made through meaningful metrics (i.e. lean body mass, body fat percentage, segmental analysis, etc).

What is health coaching and what are we doing on the two weekly calls?

1. Health Coaching is how we support you beyond just the in-the-gym work. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, recovery, and mindfulness are the most common topics, but these conversations are guided by what you will benefit from the most. They’re designed to be 100% customizable so we fit the needs of each and every person we work with.
2. Generally the calls break down into two parts. First, we discuss what your weekly focus will be. Second, we check in about how the past week has gone and chat through keeping you headed in the right direction for the week ahead.
3. You’ll get a better understanding of what this looks like when we meet in person before the series starts, but our health coaching is a huge part of making sure you get the outcome you’re looking for. Take advantage!

What are my options after this series is complete?

1. Ideally, this program serves as a confidence booster and stepping stone to get you into group classes! We have options for that right here at TwinTown and will talk with you about them as [re]Boot wraps up.
2. Some people might want to take another month in this series to further reinforce the habits that they have created, but there’s no pressure one way or the other. You decide what makes the most sense for you; we’re just here to provide support.
3. Use this as a jumpstart for another fitness endeavor. Maybe you’ve wanted to get into running but haven’t had the motivation. Or maybe you have a gym in your building but have never know what to do when you get there. [re]Boot is meant to help you get moving, first, but also to show you that a sustainable workout routine is well within your reach!

Have you had trouble getting into a consistent workout routine?

By design, this program is a month-long so you have a chance to build the habit of incorporating regular workouts into your life. The power of consistency can’t be understated, so we want to help you build from wherever you are when you begin, to a place where you feel like something is missing if you don’t work out. When you’re through with this month, we want you to have a level of confidence that you haven’t had in a long time.

What if you’re coming back from an injury?

This is actually where we’ve seen the most improvements with people as we’ve run trials of [re]Boot! We regularly modify our group classes and personal training so each individual has the challenge that’s right for them, and we’ll do the same for you. The 5-person limit to these classes will further ensure that you’re never without any workout modifications you need! To make sure you’re comfortable taking this on with us, we’re here to talk through any questions or hesitancies you have before the classes begin. What if you’ve never worked out before and are nervous to start?

We know that working out—especially at a new gym—is intimidating, but we’re here to support you the entire way. There’s no required level of experience or fitness required to begin. All that we ask is that you commit to the process, see it through to the end, and lean on us for support when you struggle!
