Discipline Doesn't Need to be Crazy
It just needs to work.
I hesitated even putting the word "discipline" in this title because it's such an intense word. BUT, being disciplined is what we make of it.
In our health and fitness routines, being disciplined is simply sticking to what brings us the progress we want to see.
For me right now, this means getting out on a walk on a daily basis (I shoot for the quintessential 10k steps), getting in three TwinTown workouts per week, and putting emphasis on adequate protein in my meals.
Most of my workouts follow our Work Track but I do like to get after a Train workout on occasion. The point is that, for me, discipline means getting in for those three workouts on a regular basis—no matter what they look like.
While this is far from an impressive routine, it's served me well and I know it's one that I can stick with.
We use the slogan "Just Great Workouts" because we are here to push you to do what means the most TO YOU. So, what is that? Do your workout and lifestyle choices line up with that goal? If not, don't suffer in silence or feel like more of the same is going to get you there!
If you need help, reach out and have a conversation with me. This stuff is tricky, for sure, but there are usually some simple fixes we can make to balance an appropriately disciplined routine with the demands of your life.
Keep up the hard work!
