TTF Lifecycle Week 2: Your First Few Weeks

This is the second week in a 5-part series we put together to help you through the ups and downs of your fitness journey (if you missed last week, you can check it out here)! Week 1 was for those who are thinking about starting; week 2 is for those in their first month with us.

Here's what we want you to know:
 

1. Congrats on starting! Getting going can be an intimidating endeavor, but you just made a great decision for yourself. Way to make it happen!

2. We are here to help you be your best, not the best. Know what that means for you and keep it in mind as you come to class! #ProgressNotPerfection

3. Soreness is ok! That tenderness in your legs after some squats or in your arms after push-ups is just a part of the process. Your body will adjust by getting stronger in less time than you'd believe!

4. Build a habit. Just 3-5 hours per week will go a loooong way in helping you make some progress! This is important to you, right? Dedicate yourself to the process!

5. We have your back. We've been at it here for over a decade now and would love to put what we've learned to use in getting you everything you're looking for out of your hard work.

6. Fitness is a personal thing! Please don't be afraid to ask questions. We just want to teach, give you a great class every single time you're in, and keep you moving forward in your commitment.

Again, we can't stress enough that any anxieties you might have are not just yours! A huge part of the success we see from our members is not because they know a magic trick for avoiding what's uncomfortable, but instead because they remain humble and do the work. You can do this!
