It's Never Not Worth It
Today was not my day…
I was short on energy, FREEZING, overthinking my to-do list, didn’t feel inspired to work out, had no exercise frens to push me (sniffle, sniffle), and just couldn’t land on a dang playlist that I actually wanted to listen to. UGH.
I summoned some courage and got through the strength work but was SO close to skipping the workout (the excuses were materializing left and right!). But, while it was far from a remarkable performance, I did it. And guess what? Not more than a minute after it was all said and done, I felt an overwhelming sense of appreciation for having done what I so badly didn’t want to.
I can’t say for sure, but I would guess that I’m not the only one who has days like this. The next time it happens to you, remember that not only are your workouts always worth it once they’re over, but that there’s usually a direct relationship between how bad you want to skip and how damn good you feel when it’s over.
It’s never not worth it. Come work out!
